BOOTS ON THE GROUND - THE BATTLE OF BUNKERVILLE

My son's and my mission in going to defend the Bundy family in Bunkerville, Nevada.
Our reason for going to Bunkerville, Nevada was simple. We went to prevent a slaughter as happened at Ruby Ridge, Idaho and Waco, Texas. We did not go there to harm anyone unless that was necessary to prevent an inevitable slaughter by an out of control government agency or agencies.
My son and I spent the first three days and nights after hearing about the probable Ruby Ridge style raid against the Bundy family, talking to everyone we knew. We alerted many people and groups to this dire situation in an effort to gather as many people as possible at Bunkerville in the hope that the BLM and their hired thugs would not harm or kill anyone in the Bundy family or their supporters. I believe that through our initial efforts and along with others, we prevented a new Ruby Ridge or Waco. Without firing a shot, we helped accomplish our mission.
Heart
This is first and foremost the most important aspect of the Battle of Bunkerville.
During our time in Nevada, we saw the most amazing thing. We saw the heart of America, pure and simple. We met people and heard their stories as to why they were there and how they got there. There were many times when I had tears in my eyes as I listened to these stories and witnessed their devotion to America and liberty. There were so many people we met that I cannot begin to tell all of their stories, but I will mention a few that highlight the strong heart of the Americans who walked the talk in Bunkerville.
The Young Couple
We were privileged to meet a young couple who initially came out to see what the protest was all about. After educating themselves to the situation and knowing the Bundy family was in danger; they went home, quit their jobs of thirteen years, gave up their home, had a family friend take in their pets, gathered their shotgun and revolver, and returned to Bunkerville to defend the Bundy family and America. They gave up what most Americans would never even consider, just to defend another family that they had never met. This is a heroic family with a true American heart.
The Grandfather, Grandmother, and their Granddaughter
During our stint in Bunkerville, we were honored to meet and befriend a couple and their granddaughter from Nevada. The grandfather who is running for office in Nevada came to support the Bundy family and to honor his oath to the Constitution. Not once did he use this situation or his presence there to advance his campaign as do most opportunistic politicians. His message was simple, I will stand against tyranny and lay down my life if need be. His feisty wife stood tall by his side, all the while speaking of this injustice and the dire situation our country faces. We were blessed by meeting their granddaughter and through that meeting, we were reminded of exactly why we were there and why we must stand against oppression. This is for our children's future.
Unfortunately during their time in Bunkerville, they received news that the grandmother's sister had suddenly passed away. Just as unfortunate, they did not have the money for her to travel to the east coast for the funeral. This is when the true heart of those at Bunkerville became plain to see. Several people who knew of the death and this family's financial situation, stepped up and gave enough money to help this grandmother travel to her sister's funeral. This is the heart of those in Bunkerville.
A Young Man from Anonymous
This young man heeded the call for help in Bunkerville, but had no way to get there. Putting aside his life, he headed out and hitchhiked his way to Nevada to defend the Bundy family and those who also heeded the call for help and for his country. Just to get to Bunkerville, this young man risked his life only to find himself in harm's way when he arrived. Yes, there are those who would say this young man was naïve for putting his life in jeopardy by hitchhiking to Nevada. However, who is really jeopardizing their lives, a person willing to endure the hardship of traveling by foot who is hopeful of finding a ride, or those who sit on their couches doing nothing?
The Cook and His Son
When I first met this man, he was bone tired and had a lack of help in the mess hall. He was being berated by another tired and frustrated person for not procuring help. As he sat there taking this misdirected criticism, he finally stood up and calmly walked away from the situation. Upon seeing this, myself and several others took all the dishes that had piled up from the previous day's barbecue and washed each and everyone. Another gentleman put together a list of needed items and arranged for specific people to help out in the kitchen. When this cook from Montana returned, all was taken care of and he once again could volunteer his time for his fellow America patriots. Many of us there hugged this father and cook and told him that his help and presence there was a tremendous asset to his fellow brothers and sisters during the Battle of Bunkerville and that no one here could do what they were doing without him.
As for this father's son, he stepped up by taking on the responsibility of communications, helping organize those in the field. He worked tirelessly day and night making sure everyone was okay, had water or anything else they needed, and ensured that every post was manned. Through his never ending efforts, he became exhausted and dehydrated. When I arrived, his father had him in his arms, but this valiant young man struggled with everything he had to keep standing his post. Through the help of others and myself, we checked his vitals, helped him re-hydrate, and called for an ambulance. As he laid on the stretcher, he kept thanking us for helping him so he could get back to his post. After some doing, he and his father were convinced that they should take off for as long as needed to get some much needed sleep and get healthy again. Well, low and behold, this young man and his father were back in action the next day. With a grin on his face, he said he was back. That day, he personally thanked all who helped take care of him during his hour of need. This is what heart is all about.
The Young Army Gal
This young girl who is an Army veteran heard the call for help and without any funds, Facebooked her way to Bunkerville. This may sound insane and dangerous to many, but once you met this gal, you would know she can take care of herself without question. You may have seen her on stage holding her rifle, but talking to her solidifies her tenacity of honoring her oath to defend this nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic. During her travel to Nevada, she met a gentleman who without knowing this girl, let her have full exclusive use of his sixty thousand dollar pickup just because she was standing with her brothers and sisters against tyranny.
My question to you is, why are you not in Bunkerville? The heart of America is strong, so now it's your turn to step up and defend our beautiful America as this young veteran is doing. Can't go to Bunkerville. Lend your vehicle to someone who can and is willing to be there for America. Don't have a vehicle to lend, donate some much needed food, hygiene supplies, medical supplies, ammunition, water, toiletries, or anything else that our volunteers in Bunkerville need. Be the heart you want to see.
The Militia, The Three Percenters, The Patriots, and The Protesters
I would be remiss if I did not mention all those who came to defend the Bundy family and our American values. It has been said that there is nothing like the heart of a volunteer. This statement was beyond apparent by those who spent their own money just to get to Bunkerville and defend people they had never met. From sea to shining sea, from purple mountains majesty, from the deserts, the plains, from coast to coast, these magnificent volunteers came to secure our freedom from tyranny. These wonderful patriots came without thought to themselves just to do what was right. They did not ask for anything except to defend the Bundy family and our great country from the evil that is trying to destroy our America. Many of these defenders had little or nothing, but came anyway. One gentleman traveled from New Mexico without a dime in his pocket, but made it to Nevada by asking for donations. With his rifle and his knife, he came to defend America. These people, whether they were cowboys from Utah, militia from New Hampshire, patriots from Montana, or just ordinary Americans from California, Arizona, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and all the other states in our great country, came because it was needed and was the right thing to do.
This is the heart that our fellow countryman must find if we are to save our beautiful American in her hour of need.
I implore you, be the change you want to see. Be the American you were born to be.
Boots On The Ground - Sleeping In The Dirt
While at the Battle of Bunkerville, we along with others were the boots on the ground. While some had make shift tents, or camping tents, there were others who slept on the ground with just a sleeping bag or just the clothes they came in. This may sound tough and it was, but remember those who are serving in the middle east as they too sleep on the ground and in the clothes they wore when they arrived. This is what it takes to defend America. Those of us in Nevada did not come for a kumbaya moment by the fire, we came to save America. In fact, we had no fires to keep warm at night, just the coats we brought. We did not bring our motor homes, we did not sleep in hotels, we did not chill out at the pool, nor at the spa; we slept in the dirt in our vigil to protect and defend the Bundy family and the principles America was born from. From the Marine who slept by his truck in the dirt to those who took up positions in the desert, we stood fast and held our positions through the 90+ degree days and the 40 degrees or less at night. We did not complain and we did what we came here to do.
Walking the Walk
Many patriots talk the talk, but sadly most did not show up in Bunkerville. Yes there are those cases where people could not go, but keeping the supply lines rolling is a way to support those who are on the ground in Nevada. Donating supplies or money has a great affect and keeps those who are in Bunkerville able to stay there and stay vigilant. There were many people who came who had little to nothing, but they came to help save our founding principles and protect the Bundy family and their supporters from tyrannical thugs bent on forcing their way upon the people. Walking the walk means sleeping in the dirt, bathing in the river, eating hot grub as quickly as you can so you can get back on post. It means dealing with rattle snakes, scorpions, the blazing hot sun, sun burns, bug bites, frigid nights, dehydration, being dog tired and stressed. Walking the walk is to force yourself off your couch to stand with the brave civilians and veterans who literally placed their lives on the line for people they didn't know and against the most powerful government in the world. Walking the walk is fearful. Every person in Bunkerville had to make the chilling decision that each day may be their last here on earth. Some had little to no training, but still they came to defend and lay down their lives for liberty and their fellow human beings.
This man, this tried and true American, a veteran of the Korean War, walked the walk. At over 80 years old, this tough old soldier patrolled the desert night and day with his rifle and his love of country.
If he can still walk the walk, so can you. Be the American that our founding fathers were. Walk the talk and stand with your fellow Americans.
Raising The Flag at the Battle of Bunkerville
It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. So, here are my thousand words.
This flag was raised in the spirit that it was raised on Iwo Jima. This area, the island of Bunkerville was secured after the BLM thugs tucked tail and ran. You may have watched the video of a cowboy riding up the hill with the stars and stripes. This is that hill and this is that flag. This flag along with others on different hills have been maintained by those brave men and women at Bunkerville and will remain so until this battle is over.
Bunkerville - My Final Words
Those who are standing for America in Bunkerville, Nevada are the truest of heroes. This fight in Nevada is not yet over and neither is the fight for America. Tough times are coming and those who don't find the courage to stand up now are placing themselves in much more dire situations in the future. Yes, standing up against the tyranny that our country now faces is dangerous and the consequences of those who stood up at the Battle of Bunkerville may not yet have been felt.
Edmund Burke once stated, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." If we the people of America do nothing, evil will have its way and destroy not only our beautiful country, but our very lives and the lives of our children. By not showing up in Bunkerville, or New Mexico, Colorado, Texas or elsewhere, we will be the good men doing nothing. The time for just vocalizing our concerns is over. It is time to talk with arms in hand and having the fortitude to use them if necessary. For too long now, our elected representatives have shunned our concerns, turning instead to those who line their pockets. It is time to take our country back in no uncertain terms. It is time to be who our founders were, Americans.
The next Bunkerville, the next Lexington Green, or our next Concord is just around the corner. It is time to ensure we are prepared to endure and survive a war never before seen. From our division here at home, to major external military forces around our world, to the new generation of warfare already being waged, we are in the fight for our lives. This new war, we each must become self-sufficient; from suppling our own food, our own water, to making sure we are well provisioned for everything that may come. We are the warriors of God; and we are in the gardens, picking up trash, fighting fires, old and young veterans, mom's and dads, brothers, sisters and even our children. Everyone of us, from the lowest to the most grand, this is our time to overcome, or, should we do nothing, our time to succumb. Prepare yourselves not just to carry and use weapons, but to survive without all that we have take for granted. Last, we are the children and image of God, all of us - those who stand with us, and those standing against us. Now is the time to ask of God, and to listen to God. Now is the time to rebuke evil and put on the armor of God. Listen, for God will speak to you, through feelings, through knowingness, in the wind, and from that voice within. Listen, for God is calling.
